Third - and last - Cookery Class

Ready - and already eaten

For the first time, we made salty food. We made something like swiss potato, which is easy to make. We, professional cooks, can consider everything easy to make, but this really was a piece of cake. To make this dish, you can use whatever you want - whatever that goes with potato. We used bacon, cream cheese and onions.

First of all, you need to grate the potatoes, and cut the onions and the bacon into little pieces, then put the ingredients together, and separate them into two equal portions.

After it's done, cook both portions separately. Then, put one portion in a dish and the cream cheese on it. On the cream cheese you'll put the second portion and take it to the oven for 10 to 15 minutes and it's ready to eat.

Second Cookery Class

Theme of the week: Cupcake
Students: Mary, Peter and Lucas

Steps :

First - Mary and the guys put sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla in a bowl, then mixed and beat it with an electric mixer.
The challenge was not to splash it on us and on the floor. We became experts in this now.

Second - They made chocolate topping. Meanwhile they put the dough in bowls or cups and placed in the oven for roasting.

Third - They made another topping. This time it was with red jelly. They put condensed milk in the pan, after they broke gelatin in leaf, mixed with condensed milk and cooked. It became a pink cream.

Fourth - After a while the dough was ready. At the end they put some covered
with chocolate on top and others with the pink cream.

Feedback -The recipe is easy to be done, the cupcakes are cute and delicious.
In this lesson we took advantages, besides eating something tasty and improve our skills as cookers, we increase our cook vocabulary as well.

Cookery Class

Some weeks ago, we were talking about life skills we would like to learn at school. As everybody agreed that we should have cookery classes, our teacher decided to do it. We were going to make a strawberry dessert.
Although a specialist said that we were not able to do it, we didn't give up. At the beginning, everything was running perfectly... We knew how to use a blender, how to cut strawberries and how to break eggs - this one was quite hard, as we needed to use only the yolk.

If you take a look at the second picture (strawberries) you'll see that the stove is on. Everything was great, until we needed to use it. As we're professional cooks, the problem wasn't with us, but with the stove's fire: it couldn't be as low as we needed.
While we were making our best to cook the dessert, Arthur made the dough. After some minutes fighting with the stove, using our admirable cooking skills, everything was done, except from the chocolate, which goes on top of the "cake".

In the end, we melted the chocolate and put it on the top of the dessert (with some strawberries, to make it wonderful, of course!). It went to the fridge, and we played Scrabble. After some minutes, it was finally ready - and delicious! Here is a picture to water your mouth:

Perfect, isn't it?
